Ômara was born from a deep commitment to the mountains of Dharamsala, in northern India, in the heart of the Tibetan community in exile. It was there that Maurin Lavergnat trained in traditional Tibetan healing from a masseur who accompanied the Dalai Lama's monks and doctors. This vibrant and human transmission awakened a vocation: to connect ancestral knowledge with coherent, grounded, and accessible healing practices.
Ômara draws inspiration from Tibetan medicine, Ayurveda, modern cellular nutrition, and current scientific research. The goal is clear: to offer a targeted range that strengthens the body, restores vital energy, and supports overall balance.

In 2009, a trek in Ladakh marked the beginning of a human adventure. Following a natural disaster in 2010, the founders, with the support of Thenzin Dhondup, committed to the Tibetan cause, provided practical assistance to 80 children and several families: schooling, food, clothing, and equipment.
From this, the Ammala association was born, founded on April 29, 2011. Today, more than 240 children are in school and benefit from long-term support. Ammala also supports health, cultural and sustainable development projects to improve the living conditions of Tibetan communities.
